About him
I believe in love in all its full glory, and I'm still a bit of a hippie at heart so also believe in the wider love for fellow humans, the animal world and all of nature. I am moving into retirement now but have no idea of what I'll do, , but I do know I don't want to spend more time in the garden or decorating the house.
I am very active for my age, but I do like to relax and chill out as well much more now, especially in coffee shops and cafes. I have a wide range of interests, including science, economics, politics, arts and culture, and love listening to different kinds of music. Travelling is a spiritual experience for me, and prefer to avoid the beaten track, I enjoy travelling on long train journeys, on ferries, and prefer buses to cars.
I keep myself physically fit and healthy through good diet and exercise as I believe that feeds a healthy mind and spirit. I have lived and worked in different parts of Britain and Ireland so am used to travelling, and here in Northern Ireland we are just an hour's flight away from most parts of the British mainland.
What else? I find a lot of hilarity in everyday life; holding hands while walking on the beach; gazing at stars in the still cold air; watching waves crashing; treading on twigs in the forest; very tactile and lots of kissing; running in the park; midnight cups of tea; spomtaneous getaways. I am very respectful of others, a good listener and don't mess women around.
One thing about me is that I have had impaired central vision since age 14. There are inconveniences such as being unable to drive, but it has not stopped me living life to the full and I believe that it is part of who I am now and it has shaped me into having a deeper understanding of my own soul and of other people's. Plus it has made me more value all the beautiful sights in the world, including all the photos of all you stunningly gorgeous ladies on this site.

I don't have a fixed idea of my ideal woman, I adore so many different types of women as long as they are models (just kidding girls!), but at the core be loving and value greatly being loved yourself in a real way. Total honesty and trust, pure connection between our souls.
Probably a bit of a hippie in spirit, be a curious person with a desire for us to explore new adventures and experiences together, both within ourselves and on the outside, with a zest for life. But I am very OK with having at least some different interests to each other. I am also open to not necessarily co-habiting all the time, but that could change later on if we both thought that would work.
